$180M+ wagered on Super Bowl LVIII in Nevada

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Super Bowl LVIII set a new record for wagering in Nevada, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Newly released figures showed that $185.6 million was wagered in the state’s 182 sportsbooks for Super Bowl LVIII, the NGCB reported.

“Unaudited figures show a sports book win of $6,802,264 was recorded on wagers totaling $185,612,813. This resulted in a hold percentage of 3.7%, NGCB Senior Economic Analyst Michael Lawton stated on Monday.

“The Nevada Gaming Control Board congratulates and thanks all the stakeholders involved for successfully delivering such a spectacular event from the State of Nevada,” NGCB Chairman Kirk Hendrick added.
