Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash in west Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries in the west Las Vegas valley.

On Saturday around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Durango and Starboard drives near Sahara Avenue after a report of a crash.

Police said that a vehicle hit a motorcycle that was traveling at a high rate of speed in the intersection.

The motorcycle was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to RTC Southern Nevada, all southbound lanes were blocked in the area.
